I’m Hanna Thomas Uose, a writer and a strategist for the progressive movement. Here I share what I’ve been thinking about (mainly how to make a new world and how we are with each other while we do it). Every quarter, I also send a list of things I’ve enjoyed. Take what you like and leave the rest.
Hello! Who Wants to Live Forever, my debut novel, has been out in the world for five days!
I have many things to write about and share with you, but I have barely had a moment to catch my breath. So this is just a quick note to say, if you have been thinking about buying a copy of the book, today is a great day to do it! It will count into my first week of sales which is an important number for any author as it is the first indicator of how well the book might do over time. If you are in the US or abroad, websites like Waterstones or Amazon deliver overseas!
I’ll write again soon, but in the meantime do read my interview with The London Magazine which is a real peek behind the curtain, especially as my friend Isabel Brooks was the interviewer and asked very astute questions.
I am on the train to Oxford right now, for an event with Hanako Footman at Daunt Summertown. Later in the week I’ll be at Folkestone Bookshop and next week I am heading to Manchester. If you’d like to pop along to any of the events coming up check out my website here.
TTFN,
Hanna
